About

From Milarepa to Petrul to Trungpa, Tibetan Buddhist teachings took the form of blunt songs and poems that told the personal experience of loneliness and cutting ego and humor.

A few students requested I say something to them like that, so I wrote these words for our Monday night talks. I have now been asked to share some of my writing in a blog.

My name is Richard Kurtz.

Any confusion in my writing is only to be expected from somebody like me. As for any clear thinking that may help, know that I have stolen it from my teachers.
